Ball State, one of the hidden gems of US public higher education. Ball State was ranked as the nation's top wireless campus in a 2005 survey conducted by Intel Corporation and published in U.S. News & World Report. Ball State ranks 11th in the nation for its overall student-athlete graduation rate, and fifth for football (first among public schools). Ball State University is located in a pleasant, residential community one mile from the business center of Muncie, Indiana.
