A significant programme of campus renewal and consolidation is underway at Middlesex. At Hendon Campus a new library named for our Chancellor Lord Sheppard (The Sheppard Library) opened in 2004: the magnificent glazed quadrangle opened as a student social, enquiry and performance space in September 2005.

They have five Schools: Computing Science, Health and Social Sciences, Lifelong Learning and Education, Arts and Middlesex University Business School. Campuses are at: Hendon, Trent Park, Cat Hill, Enfield and Archway and now Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. They also operate on a number of hospital sites. Our administrative headquarters are at New Southgate. They are one of the largest universities in the UK, with 22,000 students. Around 60% of Middlesex students are from London and the South East and around 25% are from outside the EU. Middlesex is one of the most popular UK universities for international students. We offer generous student scholarships – all are cash awards based on merit

The 2003 institutional audit by the Quality Assurance Agency gave Middlesex the highest rating possible.

They are a major provider of nursing and midwifery education in London, with the highest ranking for quality (Quality Assurance Agency Review 2004).

They have just been awarded £6.3m for the creation of two national Centers for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETLs)

Entry requirements-Graduates

You should normally have an honours degree equivalent to UK second class. For the MSc in Computer Networks a science or technology background is preferable and for the MSc Computer Network Management a technology, business or management background.

You should be computer literate and have a proven ability in written and spoken English. If your first spoken language is not English, you must have either IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 575 (paper based), 231 (computer based) or equivalent.
