Accreditation: NJIT is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSACS) Commission on Higher Education. All of NJIT's eligible professional programs, both graduate and undergraduate, are accredited by the respective accrediting agency for their field.

NJIT is located in the heart of NJ’s largest City, Newark. The univ. is a public research university which serves about 8,300 students everyyear.It has six school, the oldest being the Engg. school, which was started in 1919.

Courses Popular Master’s Programs:

MS iS – 2.8 GPA. GRE or GMAT is acceptable 
MS CS – 3.0 GPA
Master of Architecture – Portfolio, 3.0 GPA, GRE MS Civil Engg. – 2.8 GPA
MS Pharmaceutical Engg. – 3.0 GPA, GRE, Degree in either Civil or Mechanical Engg.
MS EE – BS in EE or closely related area.
MS Engineering Management (Dept. of Industrial and Mfg. Engg.) – 2.8 GPA.
All other engg. programs such as Biomedical Engg., Environmental Engg., Industrial, Internet Engg., Mechanical , Occupational Safety and Health Engg, Telecommunications, Transportation, Urban Systems, Biology, Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics etc.

Application fee: Undergraduate: $ 50
Graduate: $ 60
Spring – Oct. 15th for aid and final
Summer – No intake
Fall – For Aid: 15th Jan. Otherwise, 1st May final.
All documents have to be received by the above deadlines, including scores.

Costs – only tuition and fees:
Bachelors - $ 18,180 for upto 19 credits per year.
Master’s - $ 19,191 approx.
