Who is eligible for Educational loans through Valmiki Group?

Any USA or Non-US/International Students of any origin having a creditworthy co-applicant that is a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident (Green Card Holder) who has been residing in the U.S. for the previous two years and who has been with the same employer for the previous 2 years.

Is my School / University approved for Student Loan?

Once you register online with us, our Customer Service Team shall revert back to you with approval or non-approval of your University / School / College.

What is next step after I register with Valmiki Group?

If your School is approved, you will be notified with an approval email along with our Student Loan Application Form which can be submitted in person or by fax.

What if my School / College / University is not approved & listed on your website?

You should contact our Customer Service Team at counselor@valmikiedu.org with Subject: "Get my School approved". If your School is not approved, we have dedicated priority service representatives who will initiate your School approval process with available lender.

What is the total amount of loan I can obtain as Student Loan?

Minimum: US $1000. Maximum: US $45000 or the Cost of Education as determined by the school. You can obtain a Student loan for the entire amount of fees (including Tuition, Boarding, Living expense etc) payable by you after deducting any scholarships, financial aid etc. received.

What is the timeline to receive my funds? How fast I can obtain Student Loan?

With our Online Registration process option you could receive funds in 12-18 business days or less if the application is accurate and *Co-applicant's documents and credit history is satisfactory.

What is the interest rate on the Student loan?

Valmiki Group helps all students to obtain finance for their higher education at current Wall Street Prime Lending Rate (based on the US Prime Rate as published in the Wall Street Journal.

What is the repayment tenure/term I can avail for funds I borrow?

Repayment terms vary between 10 and 25 years depending on your loan application, academic profile & on the cumulative amount borrowed. Minimum monthly payment allowed is $50. There are no pre-payment / early payment penalities.

Is there any application / guarantee fees?

Yes, there is a nominal professional consultation fees per application.

What are deadlines?

There is no deadline. Students should be advised to leave plenty of time to submit the application and required documentation so that funds may be disbursed by school deadlines. Applications for past academic years are allowed only if the school will certify that past education related expenses are due.
