Campuses
Thames Valley University has three main campuses:
Ealing campus
Ealing has a green and leafy environment with more than 1,900 acres of park and open space. It is just 20 - 30 minutes on the London Underground from Central London. Slough campus
Slough is a thriving town with Windsor Castle and Eton College situated nearby. The town centre offers an extensive range of big-name stores and independent shops, as well as restaurants, pubs and a multi-screen cinema. Reading campus Reading is a vibrant and lively town in the heart of the UK's 'Silicon Valley'. Shopping and leisure is easy, with the town centre and the Oracle Shopping Centre just ten minutes from the Kings Road site.
TVU is one of the UK's largest universities with over 44,000 students, from over 117 countries. It is a modern university with a long tradition. Providing high quality, relevant and vocational courses for the real world to enhance job, employment and career prospects provide excellent teaching and study support.
Post Graduation Courses
Academic percentage should be more than 55%.
Scholarships availability for int. students:
The amount of financial help you receive depends on the strength of your application. There are many scholarships available to help with the cost of study, for both home and overseas students. £1,000 award this is only offered to overseas students. The students who enroll on a full-time postgraduate course with a tuition fee of £7,000 or more per academic year, will be granted a reduction of £1,000 (in addition to the early payment discount) if they pay their full tuition fees at enrolment.
Paragon is TVU's halls of residence. Opened in September 2006, it consists of: 810 single study bedrooms, each with en-suite toilet and shower facilities and broadband internet access 29 studios, each with a double study bedroom, fitted kitchen, en-suite toilet, shower facilities and broadband internet access. It is close to our Ealing campus, and there is a shuttle bus service to our main teaching centres at the Ealing and Slough campuses.
Reading campus
At our Reading campus, you can stay at the hall of residence located at Kings Road site or with a family as home stay accommodation.
The hall of residence, Reading, features:72 bedrooms, 9 of which have been purpose built for disabled students en-suite facilities in ALL rooms fully fitted kitchens with dining / communal area (one to every 8 rooms) door intercom system and cctv television and network points with internet connection a laundry night-time warden.
Availability of part-time jobs on campus
University provides careers advice and an employment service for all TVU students

1. If you’re English language is not at a high enough level for entry to our undergraduate or postgraduate courses. You can enroll on our English Language course until you reach the required level.
2. TVU offers a £1,000 award if you meet certain conditions. Outstanding current or prospective postgraduate students at TVU are invited to apply for the Chairman's Scholarship Award. This scholarship is worth £5,000 is distributed over two terms to the deserving candidate.
TUV offer bursaries for students studying courses in music composition and performance.

3. Undergraduate students: If you are a full-time undergraduate home student beginning your studies in 2008/09, you may be eligible to apply for a TVU bursary.
