Effective 1st October 2008, the VFS Logistics fee amount for nonimmigrant visa applicants will be revised to Rs.381/- . The fee amount includes VFS service charge fee Rs366/- as well as HDFC Bank service charge fee Rs15/- and is inclusive of Service Tax @ 12% and Education Cess Tax @0.36%. All nonimmigrant visa applicants who purchase their fee receipts on or after 1st October 2008, will be required to pay the above mentioned revised fee at the time of purchasing their visa fee receipt at designated branches of HDFC Bank. Applicants that have purchased their fee receipt prior to 1st October 2008 will not be affected by this change.

This fee is payable in cash or by DD/HDFC Bank cheque favouring “HDFC Bank a/c VFS”. DDs issued by cooperative banks are not accepted.
