The Indian Government has invited applicants from India for Commonwealth Scholarships, to study in the United Kingdom, which will be available effective October 2008.
Altogether there are 60 awards, out of which 35 are for Master’s level students or clinical training (one year or six months, respectively). Another 25 awards are for three-year PhD program applicants.
Most of the important subjects of study are covered under this award, such as:
Humanities and Social Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Agriculture and Science.
The scholarship covers tuition and fees, living expenses and travel expenses – both to and from UK.
