Campuses:
The University has campuses in Carlisle, Newton Rigg, Penrith, Ambleside and Lancaster and a specialist teacher-education centre in London. The University also has strong links and close partnership working with the four FE Colleges in Cumbria (Lakes Colleges, Furness College, Carlisle College and Kendal College) to enable HE delivery locally across the county. In addition, the University is the lead institution of Cumbria Higher Learning, a Distributed Learning Network for Cumbria.

Availability of On-campus Housing:
The University offers a variety of on-campus accommodation for students (in Halls of Residence or a room in a shared house), and the Accommodation Officers can provide assistance if you would like to live in rented accommodation off-campus. You can arrange to rent a room in a shared house by contacting Landlords directly.
Availability of part-time jobs on campus:
Currently, international students may work up to 20 hours per week during term time, and full time in the vacations. Within the Student Development and Advisory Service (SDAS) there are staff dedicated to provide information, assistance and guidance. If you need to know how to obtain an National Insurance number, information about working in the UK during and /or after your studies and much more, then talk to the SDAS team. As international students you can engage in business, self-employment or provide services as a professional sportsperson or entertainer.
