Middlesex was established as a University in 1992. It is now widely regarded as an excellent international provider of higher education with an outstanding academic credential and highly employable and successful graduates.

Scholarships/Financial Aid availability for int. students:
Middlesex University has a number of International Merit Awards available to all potential undergraduate and postgraduate international students. Awards will be given on a case by case basis and successful candidates will have the award amount deducted from their tuition fees when they enroll.
Availability of part-time jobs on campus
Most International students are able to work in the UK while they are studying, though your ability to work will depend on the conditions laid out in the stamp or sticker in your passport. Working whilst studying helps finance your studies and is useful experience for future employment. Legally, international students can work 20 hours per week during term time and for much longer hours outside term.

Availability of On-campus Housing:
Average weekly rents vary if you choose privately rented accommodation, but you should expect to pay around £90 a week. The average cost per week of a room in halls is £80 to £97.
Type of halls:
Hendon has single en-suite and standard rooms
Trent Park has mainly single standard rooms and five en-suite rooms
Number of students in each: Hendon has 940 and Trent Park 395.The majority of students in halls are on 40-week contracts. A few have 50-week contracts. All rooms offer internet access. All the halls have a launderette; some halls have weekly cleaning of rooms. Car parking is available.
Campus Safety level for students:
Security officers are on site from 5pm to 9am Monday to Friday and all weekend. There are no curfews.
Special Features:
ILETS condition is waved when the student clears the English exam conducted by the university.
