Campuses: C.W. Post is one of six campuses of Long Island University, one of the largest private universities in the United States. Serving a population of 8,500 full- and part-time students.
Accreditations: The academic programs of C.W. Post are registered with the New York State Education Department and accredited by the Commission of Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. In addition, various other academic programs have received professional and specialized accreditation.
Long Island University also has seen phenomenal growth. With six campuses in New York State and sites in a half dozen other countries, almost 30,000 students and more than 665 full-time faculty members, it is now the eighth largest private university in the country. Its many resources include 503 degree-granting programs (a growing number at the Ph.D. level), an accomplished and caring faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, a 2.9 million volume library system, varsity and intramural teams in 77 sports, WPBX-FM and WCWP-FM, Long Island's National Public Radio Network, and a proud network of more than 116,580 living alumni and alumnae. Admission information:
Intakes and deadlines for international students:
Fall semester - recommended deadline of July 1;
Spring semester - recommended deadline of November 1.
Certain graduate programs only admit for the fall term and have earlier application deadlines.
Costs - only tuition and fees (for two semesters)
Undergraduate: $27,550 USD (full-time rates for 12-18 credits per semester)
Graduate: $16,500 USD (based on 9 credits per semester)
Living expenses per year - approx. $16,000 which includes all room and board, living, personal, travel, books, health insurance.
Tests information: (Min. scores required for admission)
TOEFL: 527 paper-based, 197 computer-based, 71 internet-based
GRE: (section-wise): varies by program; not many programs require GRE
GMAT: 400 is the minimum; requirement might be higher depending on GPA
SAT: not required for non-native speakers of English

GPA/Percentage required for admission: Recommended GPA for each Dept. - as a general rule, most graduate applicants should have about a “B” or 3.0 average, but each graduate department has its own admissions criteria. Undergraduate’s applicants should have at least a 2.5.
