The University of New Haven (UNH) (Estd. 1920) is a private urban coeducational university enrolling approximately 4500 students of which 450 are international students from more than 50 countries. The student population is divided among undergraduate day and evening students and graduate students. UNH is located in West Haven, South Central Connecticut, 120 kilometers northeast of New York City and 222 kilometers southwest of Boston, Massachusetts. The campus is situated on 77 acres of land in West Haven, Connecticut, overlooking Long Island Sound and the city of New Haven. Temperatures range from 20 (-7 Celsius) degrees Fahrenheit in the winter to 85 (30 Celsius) degrees Fahrenheit in the summer.
