NJIT is located in the heart of NJ’s largest City, Newark. The univ. is a public research university which serves about 8,300 students every year. It has six school, the oldest being the Engg. School, which was started in 1919. NJIT offers 92 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in six specialized schools instructed by expert faculty, 98% of whom hold the highest degree in their field.

Popular Master’s Programs: MS-IS, Computer Science, Architecture, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, MS-Engineering Management (Dept. of Industrial and Mfg. Engg.), Telecommunications.

Popular Bachelor’s programs:  Almost all.

Admission information:
Intakes and deadlines for international students: 
Fall semester - January 15th(for Financial Support Consideration). Normal deadline-5th June.
Spring semester - November 15th.

 IELTS: 6.5 (with at least a 6.0 in each band)
 GRE: 1020+ (Minimum not specified)
 GMAT: 500+
 SAT: 1250
GPA: 2.8+
