Tests information

Undergraduate Admissions

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Minimum score of 500 (173 on computer-based exam).

Graduate Admissions

TOEFL Minimum score of 550 (213 on computer-based exam). Cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

preparatory-school record, class rank, and results of the SAT/ACT examination. Interviews are not required but are highly recommended.

International students with insufficient TOEFL scores must take the English as a Second Language (ESL) placement test. Scores on this test will determine if a student will begin full time University study or be required to enroll in the Center for ESL Instruction.

If the medium of instruction in a student's secondary school or University was English, or if a student has successfully completed an intensive English language program, The TOEFL requirement may be waived.
